Welcome to the website of Appleton Probus Club in Warrington

Peter Wilkinson has announced that he will be continuing as our Bowls Coordinator for the coming year, in spite of earlier rumours that he was stepping down. Peter received a bottle of whisky at our 2025 AGM as a mark of his long service in that role.

We will be resuming our monthly bowling at Budworth on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 2pm, following the monthly coffee meeting with a guest speaker.

We will also be holding our annual Mixed Bowling Day at Budworth each August.

Appleton Probus members have also been invited to join Stockton Heath Probus at their weekly bowls meeting in Victoria Park.  These are held every Tuesday afternoon from April to September from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

There is an annual fee of £40 per member that covers the Warrington BC registration fee and the costs of providing teas and coffees.  Please contact Graham Taylor direct on 07397 223363.
